About Work

The work is a daily map of the psycho-geographic effects of the isolation, where one can go in public, and what possible directions this new world holds. Statue faces are bagged and photographed to reflect the need for caution and isolation, food is salted and left to cure for the duration of the initial quarantine, but the work is beyond the static image. Songs and video are improvised, starting in the urban sphere and finishing in nature in appreciation of the virus’s slowing-down of work-time and hopeful renewal of the environment.
