Gabriela Ochalik, an illustrator and printmaker from Poland. Student of graphic design at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. Actually collaborating with foundations working for mental health in Poland. Gabriela’s works could be also seen in the last catalogue of the Florence Contemporary Gallery. She participate in individual and team exhibitions in her country and take part in international competitions concentrated at illustration and packaging design.

About Work

The main problem Ochalik faces being in isolation is that she is struggling with is missing her family and friends. It is very hard to accept the fact that she doesn’t know when she will be able to see them again. The only things left to stay in touch are phone calls and virtual correspondence but it can’t replace face to face contact. This illustration in many ways represent that struggle and current reality.
