About Work

‘City Of Delusion’ is the first work that Powell has made in self-isolation. It is about taking this enforced pause for humanity to reflect upon the way we live today, the in-sustainability of economies based on endless growth and the free market economy, how globalisation of capitalism has helped spread the coronavirus crisis. But then also thinking about the opportunities offered by the crisis. The Earth is getting a chance to breathe, with humanity on lockdown, we are exploring new ways of working that are more sustainable and could become common practice, we have the opportunity to show the best of humanity in caring for ourselves and our neighbours.
