An artist specialising in textiles and mindful art (with help from their family) as well as a workshop facilitator and mother with a strong belief that art should be available to as wider audience as possible and that art is truly beneficial for well-being.
The work examines the thoughts, hopes and feelings of a family during this unprecedented period of social distancing. The work examines the concept that art is an expression of feeling and emotion at any age and hopes to ask ‘if art is art if the work is not created by professional artist and if it helps elevate isolation and add to the wellbeing of the creators and the observers’.
